AdaptHealth announced the acquisition of Toms River, N.J.-based Community Surgical Supply, which it closed on Dec. 31, the largest deal the company has done to date outside of the Aerocare merger, said Josh Parnes, president, who described the deal as “$100 million-plus.”
Community Surgical Supply (CSS) is a clinically-focused home care equipment and services provider with over 50 years of healthcare experience. The Company provides advanced technologies coupled with outcome-based follow up programs. The CSS team of expert staff and clinical care coordinators work hand-in-hand with case management, medical professionals and insurance liaisons to ensure seamless transitions and professional medical care in the home. The Company provides respiratory, sleep and home infusion products and services from multiple locations primarily in the Northeast and MidAtlantic regions.
“They are a clinical respiratory company that focuses on oxygen, vents, sleep and full-service HME,” remarked Josh Parnes on the transaction. “What’s nice about that business is there are a lot of cross-pollination opportunities with our existing business.”
